What is the Harriet Bishop PTSA? PTSA stands for Parent, Teacher, Student Association We are a group of Parents and Teachers of students who attend Harriet Bishop. PTSA supports the students, staff and parents/guardians of Harriet Bishop in a variety of ways and is responsible for many of the activities that happen at Bishop. Some of the social activities we provide are: Moms and Muffins, Pizza Bingo, Dads and Donuts, Grandparent Day, Book Fairs and Spring Fling. PTSA financially supports a variety of educational enrichment opportunities and school support as well. Some of the programs we support are: classroom parties, classroom support of $7.00 per student to individual classrooms, Educational Assemblies, field trips, recess equipment, office scholarships and more.

How can you be involved?
  • Make a tax-deductible donation to support the work of Harriet Bishop PTSA,
  • Join! PTSA membership is $15.00 per family per year,
  • Volunteer to help at our school activities,
  • Come to monthly PTSA meetings at Bishop, held on the third Monday of the month. If that day is a school holiday (in January and February), then the meeting is on the fourth Monday. Meetings are in the Media Center at 6:30 p.m.
We need your support! Members and non-members are welcome to volunteer at activities and attend monthly meetings where we make decisions that affect all Bishop students!
